8 Weight loss tips

Weight loss didn't become a struggle for me. I've been doing it for 6 months and it has been successful. Below are a list of tips I can share.

1. Once you decide to lose weight, go for it. Don't think of it as a simple activity. Think of it as a long term goal or a career.

2. You don't really have to give up junk food. I can't give it up either. What you need is to do is limit it at least once or twice a week. Never think of diet as starving yourself. Its more of a food substitution and not reduction. Below this page is a link of foods you should probably eat as often as you want.

3. Move a lot. Exercise. Get into sports. If not, go for a morning or afternoon jog. Jogging is the best way to lose weight because you move consistently. Its gonna be a task at first until you'll notice that you're becoming addicted to it like its part of your lifestyle. Its also a great way to boost your metabolism.

4. Lift some weights. It speeds up weight loss. Don't worry about getting bulky cause it will take years of weight lifting for you to become one. I learned that lifting weights can burn carbohydrates, sugar, and fats instantly especially if you jog after.

5. Never trust any infomercials and info gimmicks you see on television which promises that you'll lose a lot of weight in a matter of days or weeks. Its just a way of doing sales talk to people. In reality its not gonna happen. If some people succeeded on weight loss pills, their metabolism did not improve. They might have lost weight in a short time and they'll probably gain back in shorter time because of poor metabolism. The best weight loss is still the old fashioned way which is clean diet and exercise. Remember: If you have a great metabolism, you can eat as much as you want without worrying about gaining weight.

6. Drink a lot of water. It has no calories and it flushes out the bad toxins in your body. Some think that water can make you heavy. The truth is it will clean up your body after. Limit your soda and some sweet stuff. Drinking diet soda is fine. Substitute cakes, candies, and chocolate with natural fruits to avoid sugar temptation.

7. Don't eat 3 hours before bedtime.

8. Check the weighing scale once every two weeks so you won't feel demotivated. Weight loss takes time and patience.
